Visit from Japan Self-Defence Forces Attache

Currently based in Washington DC at the Embassy of Japan as the Defence & Naval Attache, Rear Admiral Takaaki Hayamizu of the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Forces visited Madison for three days in November, co-hosted by JASWI and the UW-Madison Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS). His visit included briefings to the Air Force and Navy ROTC, a tour of the Veteran’s Museum, as well as a meeting with key personnel of the Wisconsin National Guard.
