JASWI Social Outing to AU Volleyball

MADISON, Wis. — Eighteen members of JASWI gathered at the Alliant Energy Center on Oct. 25, 2025, to support Japanese professional volleyball player Manami Kojima during an AU Pro Championship match.

The group matched Kojima’s energetic and athletic performance with enthusiastic cheering from the sidelines.

Following the match, members received exclusive backstage access, where Kojima signed programs and T-shirts and spoke with attendees about her journey as a Japanese professional athlete in the United States. The outing highlighted the role sports can play in strengthening U.S.-Japan relations. JASWI extends its thanks to Kojima and the AU Pro Championship staff.
