SUMMARY:Milwaukee Japanese Association Japan Fest
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special JASWI Business Speaker Series event featuring Mr. Osamu Mogi\, Representative Director\, Senior Executive Corporate Officer and Head of International Operation at Kikkoman Corporation. This program will explore Kikkoman's global history\, approach to food culture\, commitment to sustainability and university partnerships. \nThe program will highlight industry-academic partnerships\, sustainability\, applied research\, and talent development. Guests will include representatives from Japanese and Wisconsin businesses\, universities\, government\, and economic-development organizations\, as well as members of the broader U.S.-Japan community. \nThe event will include light refreshments and networking. Registration opens at 2:30pm and the program begins at 3:00pm\, including: \n\nKeynote from Mr. Osamu Mogi\nModerated panel discussion featuring: Dr. Scott Rankin\, Professor and Chair of Food and Nutritional Sciences at UW–Madison and Dr. Harvey Bootsma\, Senior Associate Dean & Professor at UW–Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences.\n\nThis event is hosted by the Japan America Society of Wisconsin (JASWI) in partnership with Kikkoman and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences. It is supported by a grant from the National Association of Japan-America Societies\, Inc.
