SUMMARY:Library of Japan Donation Reception
DESCRIPTION:JASWI and the Edgerton Public Library are pleased to invite the community to a special event celebrating Japanese culture\, literature\, and international friendship. \nJASWI will donate a curated Library of Japan collection of English-language books about Japan to the Edgerton Public Library. The collection includes fiction and non-fiction\, classic and contemporary literature\, poetry\, cookbooks\, manga\, and graphic novels selected in partnership with library staff for the Edgerton community. \nThe program will include remarks from special guests at 2:45pm. Light refreshments will be served. Former Governor Tommy Thompson and Ambassador Shigeo Yamada of Japan to the United States have been invited to join the event. Attendance is subject to confirmation. \nAttendees can also learn how to make origami with Wisconsin’s Japan Outreach Coordinators during the event. \n
