UW-Japan Engineering & Technology Forum

The UW-Japan Engineering & Technology Forum will be hosted at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery in Madison, Wisconsin on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with an additional half-day program available on the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, October 22.

This forum is designed to bring together leaders from academia and industry to explore cutting-edge content in three key areas:

• Quantum & AI Technology
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Clean Energy

Participants from Japanese companies with operations in the Midwest and nationwide, and US companies with connects to Japan will have the opportunity to engage directly with top faculty, researchers, and students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering, Department of Physics, and School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences.

The day will feature presentations, tours of our research facilities, networking opportunities, and some classic Wisconsin fun. We look forward to welcoming you to Madison! 

Full-Day Program (Oct 23, 2025) $100 – includes lunch, dinner, all sessions in the Main Program

Full-Day Program PLUS Half-Day (Oct 22, 2025) $150 – optional add-on for guests arriving to Madison early, includes exclusive tour of the Exact Sciences automated laboratories, an interactive session with College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and evening welcome drinks at Asahi/Octopi Brewing Taproom. Transportation provided.
