Professional Background
Ryohei is an accomplished executive and scientist with over four decades of experience in the food industry, primarily with Kikkoman Corporation. His impressive career spans research, manufacturing, and corporate leadership. Ryohei has made significant contributions to professional organizations in the food industry, serving as an Auditor for the Japan Society of Nutrition and Food Science from 2016 to 2020 and as President of the Food Industry R&D Assembly in Japan from 2019 to 2020.
Education
Ryohei holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture from the University of Tokyo. He gained international academic experience as a Visiting Associate Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. Additionally, he completed an Executive Program in Management at Columbia Business School.
Community Involvement
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Ryohei actively fosters Japanese-American business relations. He served as the Chair of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Chicago in 2022 and currently holds the position of Vice Chair since January 2023.

Ryohei is originally from Kanagawa Prefecture. In 2022, after 20 years of golfing experience, Ryohei excitedly achieved his first Hole-In-One.
